Einhell advantages?
When working with chainsaws, safety is paramount. With our safety helmet, you are optimally prepared for powerful work with your chainsaw thanks to the removable face protection and hearing protection. For forestry work, the chainsaw trestle with its high load-bearing capacity for thick tree trunks is also very convenient. Work with a petrol chainsaw? Then the combination canister could be a useful addition to your chainsaw for easy filling.
Guide bars, also known as chainsaw bars, are an essential component of any chainsaw. The guide bar holds the saw chain in the correct position and guides it during cutting. This allows for precise and controlled cuts. In addition to the quick-tensioning system, the guide bar also ensures that the saw chain remains properly tensioned. A correctly tensioned chain is essential for the safety and efficiency of sawing work, as a loose chain can come off and an overly tight chain can strain the motor. Replacement guide bars are available in various sizes depending on the chainsaw model. The Einhell range includes guide bars from 15 cm to 40 cm, so you can find the right replacement guide bar for any chainsaw.
Saw chains are the heart of any chainsaw and are crucial for cutting performance. They consist of several drive links, which are divided into a specific chain pitch. Drive links are the lower parts of the chain links that engage with the groove of the guide bar and guide the chain around the bar. They also have the task of driving the chain through the saw's sprocket. The chain pitch is the distance between the individual drive links. It is an important measure of the chain size and is calculated based on the distance between three consecutive rivets. The drive link gauge refers to the thickness of the drive links that run in the groove of the guide bar. You can find replacement chains ranging from 15 cm to 40 cm in our online shop. The drive links, chain pitch, and drive link gauge vary depending on the compatible chainsaw.
To ensure you are well-protected while sawing, our shop offers a forest safety helmet as protective gear. This helmet is equipped with hearing protection and a removable face shield. Safe work with the chainsaw also requires a secure stand where workpieces or logs can be safely and stably placed for sawing. Our sturdy Einhell chain saw trestle made of robust metal ensures this. The stand can support up to 150 kg. Our petrol chainsaws can be easily refueled with the necessary operating materials such as oil or petrol using the combination canister. The combination canister has two separate compartments, each of which can be filled with the desired operating material. Additionally, a practical tool bag is integrated.
In addition to the right accessories, your chainsaw also needs proper maintenance to work efficiently. Therefore, you should regularly sharpen your saw chain and oil the chain—if this does not happen automatically. We also show you which guide bar length is best suited for your project.
There is a specific guide bar for every application area. Shorter bars, ranging from 15 to 20 cm, are ideal for tree maintenance such as trimming branches and pruning trees in the garden. Their high maneuverability and precision make them perfect for detailed work. Medium-length bars, measuring between 21 and 30 cm, are versatile. They are suitable for light forestry work as well as cutting medium-sized pieces of wood. This length offers a good balance between control and cutting performance. For larger projects, longer bars ranging from 31 to 40 cm are optimal. They are ideal for felling small to medium-sized trees or cutting thicker wood, as they provide greater reach and allow for powerful, deep cuts.
If you don't want to completely replace your dull saw chain, you can, of course, sharpen it properly first. If the saw chain of your pruning saw, chainsaw, or cordless chainsaw no longer pulls itself into the wood. If the chain jumps, or the cut only goes in one direction, it's time to sharpen it with a sharpening device or a file. Equipped with a grinding wheel, one of our Einhell chain sharpeners will get the job done. Clamp the chain in the guide bar, set the correct angle, and you can optimally grind each side one after the other. How exactly to proceed when sharpening your saw chain and how to grind it with a file is explained in our blog post on sharpening chainsaws.
To ensure long-lasting enjoyment of your chainsaw, regular maintenance is essential. Oiling a chainsaw is crucial for its performance and longevity. A well-lubricated chain reduces friction, minimizes wear, and prevents overheating. Almost all Einhell chainsaws currently available in our range are equipped with automatic chain lubrication. This system continuously supplies oil to the saw chain, ensuring optimal maintenance and cutting efficiency. However, our Einhell cordless pruning chainsaw GE-PS 18/15 Li BL is manually oiled. For this purpose, a practical chain oil bottle with a dosing aid is included in the delivery. Be sure to wear necessary protective gear such as gloves or a helmet.
