Einhell advantages?
Where there's planing, there are always shavings—just like when milling wood. To ensure precision in both milling and planing, you need the right accessories for your tools, whether it’s a planer, router, edge router, or biscuit jointer. For electric or cordless planers, sharp planer blades are essential for effective material removal. If you’re into milling, you’ll find a wide variety of router bits in different shapes. This extensive selection allows you to create various profiles in your workpiece. Alongside router bit sets, our range also includes other practical accessories for your router.
The right accessories make your router even more versatile! With a router bit set, you can create precise profiles, grooves, or decorative details. Our range includes a 15-piece set of router bits with 8 mm shanks, featuring options with and without guide bearings – ensuring you have the perfect bit for any application. The diverse profiles and diameters (Ø) provide maximum flexibility, whether you’re working with wood, plastic, or other materials. For straight cuts and flawless edges, our guide rail adapter is indispensable: simply attach it to your router, and in combination with a compatible guide rail, it guarantees millimetre-precise results. This accessory is perfect for DIY enthusiasts who value clean and professional finishes. With the right accessories, you’ll elevate your router work to a whole new level!
For precise wood joints, the right cutter blade is indispensable. Your biscuit jointer reaches its full potential only with a high-quality, sharp blade. Our cutter blade with 6 teeth ensures accurate grooves, perfectly matched to biscuits (up to size 20). With a groove cutter, you can create sturdy joints for furniture, frames, or panel construction – quickly, easily, and with perfect alignment. Thanks to the robust, carbide-tipped blade, you can effortlessly achieve precise cuts in softwood, hardwood, and engineered wood materials. This accessory is the perfect addition for DIY enthusiasts who prioritise stability and precision in their wood joints.
The right planer blade is crucial for achieving precise results when working with a planer. Whether you’re using a cordless planer, a corded planer, or a stationary planing machine, a sharp blade ensures smooth surfaces and clean edges. For double the efficiency, consider our reversible planer blades: once one cutting edge becomes dull, simply flip the blade to use the second, sharpened side. Always check the blade length: stationary planing machines require longer blades, such as the 204 mm replacement blades, which are perfectly suited for larger machines. With a planer, you can smooth wooden surfaces, bevel edges, or remove excess material—quickly, precisely, and effortlessly. The right accessories make all the difference when aiming for high-quality results!
The right accessories are key to achieving precise results in woodworking. Whether you want to create smooth surfaces, craft sturdy joints, or mill creative details, the right tools make every task effortless. In our tips, you’ll learn when it’s time to replace planer blades, the purpose of guide bearings on router bits, and which router bit profiles are best suited for your projects.
Sharp planer blades are essential for achieving precise and clean results. Dull or damaged blades can leave rough surfaces, cause tear-outs, and require more effort to use. If you notice these signs, it’s time to replace the blades. Reversible blades offer a practical advantage: once one cutting edge becomes dull, simply flip the blade to use the second, sharp edge. We advise against resharpening carbide (HM) blades, as this requires specialised diamond grinding wheels and expertise to avoid damaging the delicate cutting edges. Instead, it’s best to replace the blades directly. Important: Always replace both blades simultaneously to ensure consistent planing results and maintain optimal balance. This way, your planer will continue to deliver reliable and high-quality performance!
For precise milling work, choosing the right router bit is essential. It’s important to ensure that the shank diameter matches the collet of your router or edge router – common sizes are 6 mm, 8 mm, and 12 mm. The length of the router bit should also correspond to the desired cutting depth. There are many router bit profiles for various applications: straight bits for cutting straight grooves, V-groove bits for decorative joints, round-over bits for smooth edges, chamfer bits for beveled edges, and cove bits for concave profiles. Dovetail bits, profile bits, and Roman ogee bits are perfect for furniture construction and decorative work, while flush-trim bits ensure precise results along templates. Router bit sets, like the 15-piece Einhell set with 8 mm shanks, are particularly practical. Delivered in a labelled box, they allow you to quickly identify which bit creates which profile and keep everything neatly organised and easily accessible.
A guide bearing is a ball-bearing guide wheel attached to a router bit, used for routing along edges or templates. It allows precise profiling or edgework without the need for an additional parallel guide or guide rail. Router bits with guide bearings are particularly useful for edge routers, as they make precise routing along workpiece edges easier. Router bits without guide bearings are often used for freehand routing within the workpiece or in combination with guide rails or parallel guides to mill straight grooves or profiles. The choice between bits with or without a guide bearing depends on the specific application and the desired result. Our 15-piece router bit set includes bits with and without guide bearings, making it ideal for use with both routers and edge routers.
